The Secondary Glazing we installed behind shutter blinds
interior Glaze recently completed a Secondary Glazing installation in a mews House in central London, Our Customer Was initially concerned whether or not she could have the installation done as she already had shutter blinds fitted when we came to survey the windows. Luckily our slimline Secondary Glazing frames and Professional craftsmanship Allowed us to Remove the shutter blinds in order to fit the Acoustic secondary Glazing System, Our skilled installers then installed the shutter blinds back in front of the secondary Glazing, The finished installation went unnoticed with the additional benefit of a completely sound proofed room from intrusive road traffic noise pollution.
Sound Proofing with secondary glazing
If you notice in the video You see a car passing by, the noise from the road and the passing car is completely Blocked out by the secondary Glazing we installed, Using a 6.4mm acoustic Laminated Glass like (Stadip) the one we use we can ensure to block out at least 75% of noise coming from passing road traffic, ensuring we have a cavity of 125mm gives us all the space we need for the secondary glazing window system to perform at its optimum capacity.
